I hate this pic because of how red the dash looks. It's not actually as bright as that.

Hey Phatsvt,
I was wondering how'd you get the effect of clear headlights? Is it a special bulb? If so, what kind? If not, is there someplace I can buy a headlight assembly similar to yours?

Thanks!

He removed the amber turn lenses. I cut my headlights apart and painted them and took them out. Otherwise you have to drill a lil hole in the inside of them.....

RTStabler51: Is that easy to do? Is there anywhere online that has a HOWTO?

Which way?

If you want to cut open the headlights and paint them, Chris HIghtower from CEG has a 'how to' on his site. I did my own and it is a huge PITA.

If you just want to take out the lenses I believe SweetSVT99 has a 'howto' on his site...

For the headlights what I did and was fortunate to not tear up the chrome was I took an allen wrench and tapped out the amber pieces and then chopped them up and pulled them out of the turn signal holes. Thats all.

As for emailing you VIC I will do that tonight. Later

Eventually I'm going the Eibach route. Just have to be careful from what I've heard.

PhatSVT, aren't you selling your car? I'm not too familiar with the computer on the SVT Contour, but I was wondering what kind of engine management you have. Are there stand alone systems available or piggybacks?
