FAQ

We have been receiving a lot of questions regarding finishes and fitment. I will update this OP with the must frequent questions and answers as we receive them:

Q. Are these wheels in-stock or a custom build?
A. Velgen fitments are in-stock and ready to ship! No waiting for production.

Q. What sizes are available?
A. Velgen offers 20x9 +35 / 20x10.5 +45 in stock and ready to ship for the Mustang. Velgen also offers 20x10.5 +50 for an additional cost and takes 2-3 business days to produce. Contact us for more details.

Q. Do these Wheels require spacers? Is the fitment in the pictures the "actual" fit of the wheels without modifications?
A. The wheels are direct bolt on and do not require spacers. This Photoshoot shows direct bolt on with no modifications to the wheels.

Q. Do these clear the factory Brembo Brakes?
A. Yes, the wheels will clear the factory Brembo brakes without any issues.

Q. Are there other finishes available?
A. The wheels are available in Matte Silver (shown) and Matte Gunmetal as standard finishes. We also offer custom finishes at an additional charge and these will take 5-7 business days to complete. We can produce these wheels in most single stage powder coated finishes. Chrome is currently not available.

Q. Do SVT Members receive special pricing?
A. Yes! Contact me directly for our SVT Member pricing.

NEW Velgen Matte Gunmetal Finish

This is the NEW Velgen Matte Gunmetal Finish. This Matte Gunmetal replaces the old Matte Gunmetal which had a blue/graphite base.

What will the +50 change? More concave, will the rim lip be as flush to wheel well?

Any pics of gunmetal?

These are sexay!

The +50 will bring the wheel inside the fender by an additional 5mm. This is mainly for those that want a more conservative fitment or to run a 315 size tire. There is no concavity difference between +45 and +50.

Any idea what suspension and tire sizes this one is running? I'm looking to do the same wheels for my '14 GT and the stance looks great.

How does Forgestar 's Brilliant Silver compare?

The Velgen Silver is a little Brighter and is more of a Satin (not quite full matte):

The Forgestar Brilliant Silver is a Gloss (clear coat) and has a little more gray in the base coat:

Yes, the tires are 255/35/20 and 305/30/20. This GT is on Eibach Sportline Springs.

Paul, any idea of caliper clearance on the front (how much exactly on those stock Brembos)?

These are pretty neat looking!

I don't have an exact measurement but there is plenty of room. They have also cleared all aftermarket brake systems that we have tried so far.
