I broke into the 12's for the first time today . It was also my first trip to the track since it was all stock (best stock time 13.6 @100). The temp here was about 60 and there was a 15 mph headwind. Still have stock airbox and was running stock F1’s.

Now is when it gets more addictive. You just got a taste for more speed and more mods.

Congrats on breaking into the 12's...

Looking at the 1.80 for the sixty foot mark and putting that into relation to the 12.98 in the quarter. You need to get a custom tune my friend. Some thing doesn't add up there for some reason........HUMMMMM.

+1 considering I run 16" rims with Hoosier slicks and cant get better than a 1.70 :cuss:

Got lucky I guess. Last time I ran the truck (in stock form) my best 60ft was 1.91. One thing I will mention is the track prep at Byron was good. Jay was there yesterday, he was pulling 1.80-1.70 with slicks???

I think the 1.80 60ft is the only thing that explains how it's possible to run 12.9 with only a 103 trap speed.
