The non-union crews would have probably finished the job faster to boot...
If it's really true then the local unions have just cut their own throats as far as public support goes.

well good, cause if they were really turned away for being non union during this time, that'd be one huge load of BS....

Now that the story has gone out their back peddling. Am sure this is true and now it's time to save face before the public outcry. Unions can do so much good and so much bad all at the same time.
