Well what do yall think. Personally I think its very nice, its about time someone did that with an SUV. I think Jeep reallly nailed it with this one. Performance wise, well we won't know till someone with some first hand exp. gives some insight. One glaring issue is the HEFTY price tag. Anyone have any thoughts?

Have you seen the comparison between the Jeep SRT-8 and Trailblazer SS in the recent Motor Trend? Pretty decent, although the SRT-8 came in second. That is my favorite of the two.

I think they're awesome, except for the gas mileage. I'll be tempted to pick one up in a few years, used. I can't afford it right now.

Stock to stock it will smoke a TBSS!

It better for $10,000 more. I like them both...we all know the LS2 responds well to mods...not sure about the HEMI. I like the SRT-8 more...faster and looks better. If I were in the market for an SUV I would probably go with the SRT-8.

If I am not mistakin, I think the TBSS is easier on gas then the srt 8.

The srt 8 was listed as 11 or 12 city( i cant remember) and 15 highway!!! :whine: :whine:

The SRT8 isnt that impressive to look at. They should have done more exterior cosmetic stuff to it.

I like the front end and then the exhaust of the SRT8... I got to play around with one. Just some short bursts... nothing really major. It was on the interstate. I watched him get on the interstate, the guy had it floored, and was pushin along p.d.f. by the end. I was in our 300C... pretty cool vehicles.

I'd take the SRT over the TBSS any day (if they were both free)
