there is a little spout that sticks out and it connects the same as the hose going over it and the lock keeping it in place. just gets tight around the hose and the plastic. hope that this helps.

I saw them displayed last year at the Newbury Park car shows. Very high quality, very bling bling
yes, they are the pi-thon connectors.
They look o.k. ... Sorry just my preference goes towards the Hot Rod Style.
