2x6 construction is a must for noise deadening and savings on heating/cooling.
If natural gas is run to the house run a line to kitchen even if you plan to use electric stove. Also run a line to your patio area if you think you might put in a fire pit at some time in the future.
If it is an option and you have the space/money I would recommend a actual multi-drain multi-head shower for the master bath rather than the normal drop in tub. In my opinion this is really worth it.
