Just wanted to get started here. Bought my 14 GT with Brembo package, Recaro seats and 3:73's back in July of 13. I have built several trucks and a few classics. Have gotten all of my builds in magazines but, This is my first New Mustang.

The red 250 is my Daily driver 581/999tq at the wheels. It was in Diesel power Magazine in 2009 i believe, maybe 2008.

This was my last build that i grew to hate more than it hated me but it was 1000+hp twin turbo three stage notrous injected, smokey diesel while it lasted. Made it to Pinks all out in Houston in 2010 but wasn't chosen.

Now on to the Mustang:

Going to do the supporting mods first then after I get a few thousand miles I am leaning towards the Roush tvs or a Procharger. After seeing a few recent failures, if I do the Roush I will have a built bottom end first.

So far I have FRPP P springs, GT 500 Axleback exhaust, Airaid CAI, SCT custom tuned by Eric Eldreth at ID-motorsports.com, (dynoed at 396.9 and 399.6tq at the wheels uncorrected.

At that power the factory Pirellis were crap so last weekend I installed BBR Billet lca's

BMR relocation brackets, BMR adjustable panhard bar, and new AMRcharcoal 19x8.5 and 19x10 wheels with new Michelin PSY 295/30 19s. Should have gone with a taller tire but these wont last long.

Here is where I sit now.

I have a few interior mods done so far, nothing huge, led map lights, radar detector mount and custom shift knob. Custom shift boots and ebrake boots with stitching to match the Recaro's should be here this week.

Sorry for the long first post. Hope to get some ideas and knowledge from you guys. I'm a diesel racer so I don't know much on the gasser side. Planning Long tubes and high flow catted h pipe next then who knows where. With my job I am gone a lot and do what I can when I can.

Thanks for looking.

Looking good so far…If you're looking to be different, and have the funds, go built motor and turbo for sure.

If your looking for the most power and don't have emissions testing to worry about, dump the cats all together and go offroad h pipe. Even high flows block up some decent power.

If sterling grey wasn't an option I would have gone with ruby red. Great color and it doesn't matter what wheel finish, black, chrome, gunmetal... They all compliment it great

Looks like I followed you from PSN to here.

Can't wait to see what you do with the GT after what you did with the two trucks.

2005 Ford Ranger, back halved, full race suspension.
1000+ hp twin turbo diesel.

Sold it two years ago.

It looked serious! I would like to read more about it. If you have any existing threads maybe you can link them.

This one I bought to promote a new website I am trying to grow. I plan to take it pretty far. Parts for this are so cheap compared to diesel stuff.

I have new leather shifter and ebrake boots with white stitching to match the Recaros waiting to be installed. I think Long tubes are next. I really want to build the bottom end before I add FI. I have been eyeballing the MMR short blocks lately.
