New engine needed.

Any Suggestions on a New engine for Contour SVT???? Or should I just renew the one I have? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

MPG won't drop that much with the 3.0L swap unless you have a heavy foot.
My stock 2.5L still gets me roughly 30 with a good mix of city and highway.

3.0 swap gets better gas mileage even with your foot in it. I build them up here in Akron Ohio. one of them is actually down in Florida that we have done. if interested I can point you in the right direction

Look up Nautilus Performance. They sell High Performance 3.0L Duratech engines for the CSVT. They have three different builds depending on how much power you want...........
