Ok, mods are in my sig, old dyno numbers were:

284hp 326tq untuned

same mods with only the addition of rebuild with flat tops, fr500 cams, ported heads, valve job, and an off road x instead of a bassani catted.

337hp 345 tq tuned by jba racing in 63 deg weather, 91 octane, 12.7-12.8 a/f strait across the board after 2500rpms.

Even though I feel my hp #'s are low for this car I'm happy with a 53 increase in HP, I'm sure there is much more in it with a race tune and more timing.

Up next hp wise is an fr500 intake and maybe long tubes. Keep in mind I'm pretty sure jba's dyno reads low. So I will be getting another dyno done somewhere else to verify the #'s.

Dyno numbers dont mean all that much. Take it to the track and see what it'll run.

I don't have a roll bar yet, I only get to run once before they kick me off. I've run mid 13's before the rebuild so low 13's to high 12's wouldn't surprise me. But I'm not paying 30$ for one run, or worse break something.

You know -- that is not too bad at all. Nice. Prior to the FR500 heads (ported), intake and cams, I had flattops, C heads ported and SHM Stage 1 Cams + stock intake, and about the same bolt ons and got 337/336; which was good. I beleive NAZ also got about 33x/33x, prior to all FR500 (including intake). Still a nice gain and the numbers do not matter. The FR500 intake makes a huige difference because it extends your usable RPM's to 7400 and you are still making power at 7400. Before the HP had pretty much peaked at 6200.

thanks blksnk99, that makes me feel better about the #'s, I stopped making power at 6200 exactly also. I think I'll gain another 20-30hp with the fr500 intake and long tubes, I'll prolly do is after and if I pass smog in oct, then I'll be good for another 2 years...

ya man dont worry about the dyno # so much. The dyno is just to dial in your car. How it runs is what matters

I hope 60ft was horrible and you have a vert. With that power you should be well into 12s.

With 335 to the wheels with cold air and exhaust you have one of the highest numbered stockers out there. Most are under 300 with what you have. Where did you have it dynoed?? With that kind of power you should have a lower ET than that. What kind of trap speeds? Guess the 3.73s are not helping either.

Eh, less than 5% error makes up for that. Insignficant.
