Its called the SP Super Sport Race....

I saw this on a BMW Enthusiast Site....... Has anybody tried these tires out?? They dont look all that bad. Here are the sizes they have out.....

The SP Super Sport Race is available eight Z-rated sizes: 225/45ZR17; 245/40ZR17; 225/40ZR18; 235/40ZR18; 245/35ZR18; 255/35ZR18; 265/35ZR18 and 285/30ZR18.

That looks way different than a drag radial I am used to seeing! I would be interested in the 285/30/18, I wonder if discounttire or tirerack carries them?

looks like u have to have a 18 inch wheel to even get a decent sized tire. nothing bigger than a 245 for a 17 inch wheel. :(

Is it a drag radial or more of a street legal road racing/autocross tire? It does look cool.

Actually that is not the drag radial that is there "DOT Extreme High Performance". Which is for open track/ autocross use.

The drag radial is called the SP Sport Inferno and is only currently available in 205/50R15. What are they thinking? :??:

I just saw that Mickey Thompson also has a new drag radial.
15-16-17 only.
