Just curious if anyone knows if the Predator will "download and store" ANY PCM version, such as the new one coming out from Ford to Supposevely fix the stalling issue(s)? Or will the Predator have to be "upgraded"?

I'm thinking it will, but if anyone knows first-hand, please respond.

according to my predator handbook. It states that Ford dealer reflashed Programs are seen as stock program.

The PRedator will pull any stock program. If you had program version 1, use the Predator, then the tune you put back in is the stock tune plus the changes for the WOT tables. When you flash back your original program, your good to go.

When Ford flashes you with the "latest" program the same thing will occur when you use the Predator again. I would recommend a dyno anyway, just to check and make sure your safe (still).

Lets say the new Ford flash fixes the stall. If you then come back home and install the preditor program is the stall fix then taken off with the stock program? If that is the case you are screwed no matter which way you go if you are modded and want the stall problem taken care of. Would Diablo be able to get the stall fix info so they could incorperate into their program so you could have a mod flash with the stall fix?

Any stock program will be read and the only tables updated by the Predator are the WOT tables.

Let's say you start with YDH0, use the Predator, apply the performance or pulley tune. You want to have Ford's newest flash, so you use the Predator, restore the tune to factory and take the car to Ford. Ford flashes the car with YDH1. You then re-apply the Predator Performance tune.

The only tables updated will be WOT, when your foot is on the floor and the stall issue should not occur then (hopefully anyway). Diablo does not have to be involved. Diablo uses the stock program and changes what it needs to, in order to yield better performance for people with a heavy foot.

It will work =)
