Just bought these carbon fiber covers from Chickenears. They are awesome--a neat piece of engineering. The pictures I took do not do them justice, but you get the idea. Carbon fiber + billet aluminum = really fast!!

 Very nice!!!! I saw some guys awhile back scrambling to
sell their regular billet covers to upgrade to what you just installed.

Now I know why after seeing your pics:dancenana:

not feeling it... Im not much of a bling guy and I dont understand the infatuation with the stocker stuff jazzed up. But it's your money, if you're happy, that's all that really matters.

I am glad to see that i am not the only one with the crappy K&N that is not so CAI.

I am not much on the stick on stuff. But it looks different so that's great.

Not a fan of carbon fiber stuff, but that does actually look pretty good.

Need to put some back to black on those hose's on in the engine bay so they faded look will go away.

I have to defend Jim (j6eagles). He posted pics of a work in progress, he hasn't received his carbon fiber cap set yet. He also needs to clean the engine compartment and dress his rubber parts, and last of all NEVER use the flash when taking pictures of carbon fiber or billet aluminum. :)

We've already talked about it and when he posts pics again, I think all of you will feel it!

Thanks,

Tim

Looks great! Im going for a whole lot of carbon-look, but unfortunately I can't use any of those pieces because I no longer have the same parts they go on the truck.

Jim, I thought I'd give you an idea of what they look like when you have the matching caps and do a little clean up.

Keep going brother, your going to love it!

QuickBrick, that looks very, very nice.

Too bad Chickenears isn't a Vendor here, they are awesome.
