New best times at the track

Went to Firebird firday ran my best time woohoo.. ran 3 time on my new tire.. o boy they are fun.. ran a new best of 13.73 @ 101MPH.. I know i can get it lower.. just need hit the track again.. plus everytime i go to the track i keep lowering my time..

Good times. Dont let these blown cobra owners get you down. I was at the track last week and lost to a built 4.6. Damn thing reved to 8500 and was a low 6 second car (1/8th) on the spray. My 7.52 at 93 looked slow. Hell he beat me on motor becuase of the 60 foot.

If you upgrade a 4.6 like he did you would have a very fast car. I am not a big stang fan but they are the reason I started modding. I barely beat a 98 Cobra when stock and vowed to never let that happen again.

Yea, but it idles really good at 950 and shakes the car. With the new tranny, once I hit 4000 rpm the damn thing pulls like crazy. I cant hook on 305 drag radials so I am going to ET streets. I should run with traction a low 7 in the 1/8 and low 11 in the 1/4. On my 224/224 cam I ran a 7.43 at 93 and 11.6 at 118 with a 1.69 60'. My best 60 with the new cam is 1.82 easing into it and a 7.6 at 92 on a 90 degree day.
