Hey guys, went to cecil tonight to check out the new tune. I was running a JLP Forced air, JLP dyno tuned Diablo revolution chip, and 50# injectors. I switched the intake to a 92mm Pro-M, JDM tuned superchips (not a dyno tune, mail order!), and 55# injectors. I was having probs with the truck leaning out. I put the JDM chip in and took it to the dyno, A/F's were spot on. Other mods, built long block, stage III cams, cnc ported heads, accufab TB, Denso IT 22's, Power pipe, T-bars, 28x10x16 hoosier slicks on american racing baja rims, 6# lower, 3.0 upper, Kenne Bell @ 17lbs boost, valve body (stock tranny), dynatech LT's with 2 cat mid pipe, bassani cat back, dual 255 pumps. The trans is shot, second gear slips real bad on WOT shifts, really sucks. The previous best time was a [email protected]. Tonight it got a lot better, till i got kicked out! Temp was 61 deg, Hum. 29%, Baro. 29.25. The fuel was a mix if 94 sunoco and 104 sunoco, 1/2 tank of fuel, spare removed, and hitch removed, that is the only weight reduction.

Run 1 - Street File
R/T - .019 (.000 light)
60' - 1.75 (ouch)
330- 4.814
1/8 - 7.354
MPH- 95.95
1000- 9.566
1/4 - 11.429
MPH- 121.33

Run 2 - Race File
R/T - -.025
60' - 1.701 (ouch again)
330 - 4.727
1/8 - 7.218
MPH - 98.18
1000- 9.386
1/4 - 11.216
MPH - 123.22

60's are way off, should be lower, but cant get them down with a stock converter and a failing trans, but i am happy. They kicked me out after the 2nd run. I love these trucks! There was another lightning there, i talked to the guy for a little while but never caught his name, real nice guy, he was shooting for the 12's, i saw him run a 13.00, so close. Later guys!

A proper cage will have uprights that will need to go through the rear glass, and go back to the bed. Which isn't really streetable.

JLP sells a "kit." Pre bent peices that you need to weld in. Give them a call. To be legal, you need to have to bars go through the rear, already checked. I dont really want to cage the truck, so im gonna have to be happy with these times for a while. Thanks guys!
