I think my 18" dragradials have just about reached their max on helping me Im launching at 3500 rpm's anything more and it spins like a mofo... first pass on a 96 formula heads cam missed 4th...lol

last pass was on a 2001 ss with bolt on mods and 17" dr's damn da was up there over 5000' at 11.30 pm :-D

those 18's are killing you. They are to tall. My buddies bone stock with nitto drag radials ran 8.5's in good weather. You want just a little tire spin to keep the motor from bogging.

yeah it sucks here in altitude and I know my 18's are prolly sucking another 2 tenths or so from my time but Im getting very little spin with 3500rpm launches with a 1.9 60' I think with some 15" et streets I might epper: pull off a 1.7 60' if so I might bump 13's epper:

well ther 13.9 never happened and I was sleepy so I could not cut a light for shit....lol track is closed for the season and the da was 3800' to 4000 this day :whine:

its at our local track www.lubbockdragway.com elevation is 3281 ' all summer it stays above 5000' a friend tried out his lightning bone stock and it did a 14.1 @96 mph so I guess im right there with them? his 60' was 2.08 on street tires... :bowdown:
