Its ok if you need the hood clearance. If its just for show, thumbs down.

Why such a mild 408? That is a tiny little cam for a 408 and the heads are on the small side too IMO.

Sell the heads and get bigger heads. Sell the cam and get a custom cam or do your homework before getting an OTS cam. I almost ran that 282 in my 331! That cam is way too small for a 408!

Yea they will. Me personally, if I were you I would look at other heads.

If you are staying N/A or nitrous a set of High Port 245s would be nice. Or some Victors if you can afford them and the rockers.

i was checkin out the new thump'r cam from comp and i was goin to find out some info abt that cam

Oh and just make sure you run some REAL exhaust on that car. 1 7/8" headers into dual 3" exhaust with straight through mufflers. No flowmaster crap. LOL

You should have all the power you want and the car should run mid 10's at 130+mph.
