it’s coming along! We got the 18x10 square set up on the thing with Nitto 275/40/18 NT01s.

I’m thinking it’s sitting a bit low and it’d benefit from being able to use a bit more of its suspension travel. I’ll adjust the struts in the morning and see.

The tire and wheel combo looks great to me. They’re nice and fat and give it a Trans-am/stock car look that I dig.

The tires really grip too. These NT01s are barely street tires- but I’m in San Diego. It doesn’t really rain or ever get too cold here.

Next up is putting the new trunk lid on the back so the NASCAR style spoiler can be bolted on. In theory that should give me a little more downforce and increase the rear wheel grip- but in practice it’s probably just going to reduce the thing’s top speed and kill its fuel economy.

Looks good! What class do you run? Customer of mine Robert Shaw won American Iron this past year and is trying to defend his title this year!

What's this "customer of mine" bullshit? I thought you were the cashier.

Yeah he knows zero things. Just was hoping he’d get mopped up for posting after Brad said cut it out.

Didn’t work :D

Besides, I’m busy making cars fast vs bench racing all day.

That car looks REALLY killer! I love me a GT500 set up to slay at the strip, but your car looks amazing! Very underrated for road course work IMO. Hell the FR500C was a 1st gen S197 and it slayed at the road courses!

That car screams road racer all the way, and i know thats exactly what youve been building her for! Great way to promote your business.

The blade spoiler should be effective at the speeds this will run on a road course. Youre getting a take-off trunk lid for this or youre using the stock one?

Ironic that the Hellkitty guys are losing they shit over the fender flares and the 07-09 GT500s already had em. Lol

Can wait to see how she looks when shes done.

Thanks for the kind words! The car is coming along. I’m going to use a junk yard trunk lid for the blade spoiler so I can return the thing to stock if I don’t like it. I was thinking about going for a carbon trunk lid- but that’d be like a fat kid ordering a Diet Coke to wash down his Big Mac Supersize meal. It’s funny how good a black or a white one looks against the alloy actually!
