having trouble deciding on a tire. i have 18x9 deep dish bullitts up front and 18x10 deep dish bullitts in the back. i'm currently running 265/40/18's in the front and having some scrubbing issues, so i'm stepping down to a 245-40 18. is this size ok for the front? and i'm running a 275-40-18 in the back with no issues so i'm sticking with that size.

i'm lowered 3" in the front and 2 1/2" in the back btw.

Thank you for the post BIG K. We would be happy to help.

Are you sure on your tire sizes? 265/40-18 and 275/40-18 is about 1" taller in comparison to stock which is pretty aggressive with your drop. What are the offsets on your wheels? Have you considered running 265/35-18's in the front with 295/35-18's in the rear?

yes i am 100% sure i'm running 265-40-18.the front wheels are +24mm (0.94") offset and 5.94" (151mm) of backspacing. the back wheels are +24mm (0.9") off set also and 6.3" (161mm) backspacing. i haven't considered those sizes. will those work out better for my application? also my scrubbing issue is occurring on the inner sidewall. should i go a little narrower on the section width?

Thank you for the additional information.

The sizes you are running are tall for application and take up more circumference which with your aggressive drop, is causing rubbing. Your wheel dimensions look good so the 245/40-18 should do the trick as far as solving the rubbing. If its at all possible, I would try to test fit the 265/35-18 in the front to see what happens. The shorter diameter may make all the difference. I would also try a 295/35-18 in the rear as well. I think you'll like this tire combination better in terms of performance and looks.
