need to tweak HC, emissions a little. HELP

hey guys,

I have the typical vortech set-up.

My emissions are just off by like 100 at 300 instead of limit of 220 HC.

What is a quick easy tuning mod to get them down just a bit, all else is fine.

no cats at all.

I heard, retard timing, idle to 1000, and bump fuel pressure a little.

the car has great ignition, and new plugs.... the tune is not an issue.

Went through on a 40* day, if it/the car was hotter, I think it may have gone through ????

any tips, or tricks......will be appreciated.

I have an adjustable SCT X3.

Wow. In Ca I need to have 54 ppm or less and pass visual and code reader. Just get some hi flow cats, its illegal to not have them and a huge fine when your caught.

lol i have vortech on mine . have long tubes OR-X (no cats)
but i live AL NO EMISSIONS o yea :banana: every redneck down here with a z-71 have straight pipes with like 5" tips so anouying
my car is probably like :burn: you can smell the fuel when you rev it hi while parked
