Well,
It's time to move and I need to ship my 96. Problem is that car transporters need a minimum of 4" ground clearance to get a vehicle on and off the semi trucks. I have approx 2.5" due to my H&R springs.

Any suggestions on how to do this? I was thinking one of the following...

1) I have stock rear springs in my garage... I could locate/buy some cheap stock front springs from someone and install for the move

2) Use some of those spacers you can put in coil springs to raise the car's height?

3) Ship my old car and tow my 96 (NOT DESIRED as I'd rather ship a late model... they actually go DOWN in value).

Any other options that would be cheap/easy to overcome this 4" ground clearance dilema?

Thanks!;-)

Swapping for stock springs is the only way your going to gain 1.5" of clearance.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Gotta locate some stock fronts now...

Someone hook me up with those crappy old fronts!!!

Cheap 20's?

I retract my previous suggestion. Some custom 20's is the ONLY way this shit is going to happen. Keep it big and keep it chrome.
