i was lookin into buyin a 88gt and i was just wonderin how much much the stock block can handle. and if anyone could tell me a lil about the way they came stock, like what i should expect it to run in a quarter, how much hp,kind of tranny they came with, rearend ext.....

the one i'm lookin at is a hatchback, its got a cam, headers, kingcobra clutch,5spd and 3.55's

do these fox bodies get up and go? or do they require alot of time and money?

i just wanted at least a 13second dailydriver... :shrug:

so let me know sum pros and cons about these cars

let see....the blocks are aonly good to around 550 to 600 HP at the crank....who cares their a dime a dozen....

a stock 88Gt with a good driver will get you abotu a 14.9 to 15.2 1/4 depending on how many miles

What you have listed for parts...on DR's...good lanuch....about 14.0......

for about $2000 from stock you can have a 12.9 everyday driver with suspension work
