Need T56 dimensions

Anybody have a T56 transmission laying around? I need the dimension from the top to the bottom (highest point without bellhousing to bottom). I want to make sure I can get the car up high enough in my garage to get it out from below.

Get the wheels 10" off the ground with the chassis supported on 6 ton jackstands.

Done what you are trying many times.

I've got this transmission jack from Harbor Freight which stands about 8" to the top when in the "down" position. Do I need to forget that and just use a jack which is much lower?

I use that exact same jack. It will be fine. It also works great for lifting/dropping IRS cradle.
