need some texas advice

I got in a car accident in a car that does not belong to me.

the guy said i could pay him out of pocket but as we were talking a cop pulls up.

he writes me a ticket for no insurance and failure to maintain speed.

is there anything i can do to fight the insurance citation?

I believe that all you have to do is prove that the vehicle was insured at the time. I know my insurance covers me and anyone else that has permission to drive my car.

Like BOA said...make arrangments to take your policy to the court (if you have one). It should cover you in any car you are driving and if the owner of the car actually had insurance and just couldn't find it you should show that policy also.

and for the third time refer to the second post things like that get dismissed without the judge hardly even looking at them i know when i got a ticket (all in my truck) all i did was walk in hand him the ticket and insurance and before i could even sit back down he told me to split :banana: so i was like coo and that was all
