Need Some Quick Help..

I just finished installing maximum motorsports firewall adjuster/ quadrant and oem cable.. I have everything installed and the instructions say there should be a small gap between the firewall adjuster and cable which i did have a small gap but after turning the adjuster there is no longer a small gap. Should there still be a small gap after i turned it?

No... you turn it to take up the slack.

it is hard as shit to screw the mm f/w adjuster by hand.. Anyway i started up the car to see if this thing was going to work and it wouldnt go into gear... So i guess that means i screw it counter clockwise to tighten in up correct?
