Ok guys trying not to beat a dead horse some more. However, I think you all would forgive me if you knew my true intention on restoring this car to beyond new. A week or two ago it was discussed in the other thread where to get some of the paint, which is not a problem.
I keep hearing this myth that you need to lay down a black base coat before the mystic paint is laid down or the color will not come out matching right, can somebody confirm or debunk this?
Also what else should I know about this? The paint is far to expensive to test and waste with lol. Also none of these painters around have sprayed it before so it would be nice to let them know any specifics before they spray. Thanks guys and please forgive me.
