Need some idea’s on a New flywheel.

Good morning guy’s and girl’s.

If I could,i’d Like to get some input on a good flywheel for my 1997 cobra 4.6L Dohc.

I bought it from a gentlemen,who didn’t need it anymore a few years back and he bought it from a guy in marine Corp. who was fixing it up for drag racing.

I’ve never had it tested, to see how much horsepower it’s putting out. I recently posted about destroying a exedy Mach 350 flywheel, so any input would be awesome.

Grab an aftermarket aluminum unit (Fidanza etc)

I put a Fidanza alum in my 99 Cobra that has a KB supercharger with 3.73 gears. No installation problems and no problems after installation.

I have a used spec aluminum flywheel, 8 bolt, needs new friction plates I would sell for $100 plus shipping and fees. It worked great in my 99, but got some heat and the friction plates need replaced. I went with a mcloud RXT setup on the rebuild
