Need some file conversion help

Can I convert a dwg. file (autocad) to an adobe file by myself. Some place just tried to charge me $15 for one printed fullsize drawing so ill be taking my business elsewhere

if you have autocad, you can get a plugin made by Solidworks called dwg gateway.

it allows you to create pdf's as well as save autocad files to previous version. (i.e. you can convert an acad 2007 back to an acadr14)

Haven't upgraded to 2007 yet. Did they do away with the ability to save as previous release versions within AutoCAD??

Im pretty sure it still backsaves to ACAD2000
