need shocks & opinions

Im looking into new shocks and struts for my lowered 97 cobra. I dont want anything super expensive but i dont want cheap. i just want something to last till i can afford true coilovers and better suspension. (dealing with crazy ex and child support atm)

I like the Tokico Illumina adjustable but they are a little pricey. You can get away with using the Tokico premium (blue). I had them on one of my lowered Mustang and performed great.
