Where is the best place to use a floor jack on our cars to change the rear tires? I've looked at the shop manual, but the picture they show is of a standard Mustang without IRS. The shop manual picture points out the K-member as a valid jack point for the front so that's what I'm going to use there, but in the rear it only shows the axle tubes (on a solid axle car) and the floorpan bracing on what appears to be a coupe. I have a vert so it's slightly different under there and the manual emphatically says not to jack on the convertible cross brace, differential housing or suspension arm brackets. This will be the first time I've jacked it up and I'd like to avoid crushing anything.
