Im trying to pick out a set of wheels, and decided these are the specs Id like to go with. I have gone through every page of the wheel thread and have searched the whole forum as will as just this one with only a few examples. Please help me out. Please post wheels type and offset, tire size and brand, and what lowering springs are used if any.
thanks

Did you check out the wheel picture thread, I'm sure a few are in there. One item you better plan on adding is a adjustable Panhard bar to center the rear end and wheels up.

I have Forgestar CF5 18X10 in the back and 18X9 up front, believe the 18X10 offset is +42 . BMR drag springs, 1.5" drop and koni STR.t struts and shocks for all corners. This pic is with 305/35/18 nittos out back and 255/45/18 up front

Just put continental extreme contacts on today, 255/45 fronts and 285/40 in the back

Thanks, I have pics of your car saved. Just no info. My car is the same color. Why the tire size change. The nittos wear out? The car looks great!

Thank you! Yeah they went down fast! This was my 2nd set of drag radials in roughly 6 months. The first set was M&H racemaster, they however were used, got them with the wheels. Those nittos were pretty good when they had tread, but I was down to wear bars and driving in the rain had become real exciting. I just wanted tires that would last a little longer this time and down the road I will probably do a weld rts setup for the track.

How many miles do you think you had on the 555r? Track time, burnouts etc. I thought they should last 10-12k miles at least.

probably 7-8K. I average a thousand miles a month and probably go WOT several times on the way to work and back... I really enjoyed them and there is no denying that I beat this car like a rented mule :D... I am not really disappointed in the mileage, they did better than I honestly expected given my driving style. Just keep in mind they will come with roughly half the tread at 5/32 instead of 11/32.

I was considering two more 18X10 CF5s for two reasons, one was to see how the car looked with a square setup, but the other would be to keep a drag radial mounted for foolishness in mexico or the track. The latter is much more likely for me.
