Need New clutch...UGH

Just purchased a 2003 Cobra with 47000 miles on it from a private seller. The car is clean inside and out. I was told it had a McLeod RST clutch installed about a year ago; however, when you accelerate at WOT in 2,3,4 gears the RPMs spike but the car does not throw you back in the seat. Made some adjustments to the firewall adjuster as per what a buddy told me to do, but it did not fix the issue. So, I am being told the clutch is fried and need to get a new one. My biggest concern isn't the type of clutch, which I am still trying to decide, but a reptuable shop that knows what they are doing around Savannah GA.

Does anyone know of a good shop close to Savannah or within a couple of hours?

I'm 99% sure you can send that rst back to McLeod and they will rebuild it for a lot less then a new clutch just FYI.
