Need Help!!

My computer is throwing out codes that both banks are lean and that there is a misfire on #1 cylinder. A mechanic friend told me that it was a sign that my fuel pump was going bad. Has this happened to anyone else and/or do you have any advice for me.

-Note- I've checked and there aren't any vacuum leaks

A fuel filter would be a good place to start

Definitely sounds like a fuel issue, but not necessarily the pump like your 'mechanic' friend says... As stated above, I'd change the fuel filter and go from there.

already changed the filter, forgot to mention that

Check for any fuel leaks that would cause a drop in pressure.
