I swapped a 98 console into my 95. It has another spot for a power outlet just under the armrest lid, sort of above the foglamp switch. My two poweroutlets from the previous console just fall through this hole. It's like I need a ring to hold it in. I went to Ford and the kid working the counter looked at the parts drawings and the only thing he came up with is posted below. Here's the spot:
