Need help with lakewood strut install!!

i just installed lakewood 90/10 struts on the front of my 2004 mustang gt. i used a small wrench to hold the strut in place and used another wrench to tighten down the bolt. ive tightened the bolt down as tight as i could get it but the nut and strut still spins pretty easy. am i doing something wrong? thanks for the help

You could try using an impact wrench on it but don't go ape shit. That's what I did with my strange struts.


With my tokicos on my other car I had to use the method you used but mine tightened down fully.


Is the cars full weight on the strut when you tighten it down?
