I'm replacing my fuel tank and fuel pump in my 96 cobra. I cant seem to get the 5/16 or the 3/8 fuel liines disconnected from the top of the fuel tank... can anyone help me out? Thanks

Do you have the fuel line disconnect tool?

With the tool in, pull apart hard and firm, it should come out..but..
If the tool does not work for me, I'll take 2 small flat head screwdrivers, and slide them in opposite from each other and make sure the tabs are pushed flat down and then pull the connection apart.

I had to go get a new set of fuel line disconnect tools however, I only managed to get the 5/16 line off and the 3/8 is even more of a pain. Is there something special yuou have to do to get the 3'8 line off?
