I have an AEM wideband to install on my 88 GT. I purchased it used and haven't really had any experience with this. But i purchased it knowing it did not come with the o2 that comes with the whole kit. I do have a bung. Is the bung to use the factory o2 sensor? Would i just weld the bung on top of the old bung? Just curious because the connector for the o2 looks like it has to be a specific o2 sensor for the kit and if it is, wasn't sure exactly which o2 (AEM BRAND) i would have to get. Any info on this would be EXTREMELY helpful so i can finally get into boost on my new set up. Pics below of what i have:

have the bung welded into the exhaust, NOT on the bottom of the pipe, up as close to the head as you can reasonably get it.

The sensor for AEM is probably a VW wideband 02, but you'll have to check their website to get part numbers. I'm not sure what the calibration procedure is for AEM, but you'll want to get that as well if they have one.
