Got a speeding ticket north of canton, oh on route 77. Was doing 76 in a 55 (thought it was 65). Anyways, cop (OHP) was pretty nice about it, since I had a clean record. I asked him about traffic school and he thought I could take it, so it wouldn't go on my record. Called the local jurisdiction and lady said people can't take traffic school to take a ticket off their record. She said people who had a bunch of tickets were doing multiple traffic schools and getting their records cleaned. You can the school but it will apply to the next infraction. He also said I didn't have to show for court and I could just pay the ticket but that turned out to be wrong.
So I have to go infront of the judge on fri. morning, does any1 have any suggestions on how I can keep this off my record.
