Hey I'm pretty new here, and I'm in need of some help.

I have a 2007 GT500 with 2500 miles, and recently unplugged my PCM to get the serial numbers for a custom tune.
I even numbered the individual PCM plugs and put them into the original jacks.

I started my car,it idled rough, and showed a low oil pressure warning when I did a system check.
I've tried letting it idle multiple times, only to have the RPMs go below 600 and almost kill.

I have know idea what could be wrong. Could the oil pump be out? Should I unplug the battery to reset the PCM?

the oil pump is a crank driven pump and swapping the PCM would have no effect on the pump. my suspicion is the low rpm at your idle is causing poor pressure.

did you have a new tune already uploaded to the car?

also side question - why did you need to get a new PCM?

Thanks for all the help but I figured it out.

While I was unplugging the PCM I unplugged a sensor also, and it was probably the sensor for the oil pump.
It runs fine now and there are no codes.

Turns out the 4 symbol code I needed was on a sticker on top the PCM.

I'm getting a canned tune from Lethal along with the new JLT 127mm intake and 2.6in. pulley.:-D

Sounds like you are going to unlock a few ponies. Should look into changing the lower pulley as well. The 07s are heavier than other year models. Would save some stress on your crank.

If your every headed to northshore. Pm me so we could maybe meet up.
