Hi guys

I don’t have a problem with 3rd gear like everybody else, but I have a problem with 5th gear I don’t have this problem on the 2008 GT500 only on the 2010 GT500

1-What kind of shifter will fix my issue?
2-Is there anyone else facing the same problem on the stock shifter?

Regards
Ali

I really like the FRPP (KR) shifter. It's spring loaded and centered, so for 3rd you just push straight up. For 5th you just push up and to the right. You really have to work at missing either one.

It is not the same shifter as the stock 2010 shifter.

I have the FRPP KR shifter in my KR (go figure) but like Colleton said, it's a great shifter. I have yet to miss a gear and fifth is just up and to the right. Really smooth and have never had a problem putting it into 5th gear. It goes from 4th to 5th just as smooth as 2nd to 3rd. The shifts are very short and strong.

What is the difference in the M-7210-B FRPP shifter that was offered in the Ford Racing catalog in 2007-2008 (pre-KR) and the M-7210-B shifter that is shown in the current 2010 FRPP catalog? Has this shifter been changed from it's original pre-KR design?

The Steeda Tri-ax has worked great for us on both our 08' and 2010'. Real smooth and precise. It's the same shifter that helped pilot us to [email protected] in our 2010.. Bangin gears!!!
