Need help car will not start

I added new valve covers and gaskets to my car and as you guys know there are a number connections unplugged and wires moved around but anyway car will not start now. When I turn the key I hear the fuel pump but that is it. I checked all the connections and all looks good. Could there be a fuse or something I missed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I noticed my Theft light is flashing could it be the PATS system preventing the car from turning over?

Usually pats will just stop it from firing... if its an auto.. make sure it is in park... even if it shows its in park.. push the brake and with the key in the on position shift to neutral and back to park...

if it's a 5 spd, check the clutch position sensor, could be a coincidence, but it happens.

Where is the clutch position sensor located? I was going to have the car towed to a local Ford dealer.

Also, if you disconnected the wiring for the injectors or the engine to body harness square on the passenger side I'd check those as well.

Actually I did disconnect the injectors so I'll check on them.

^ So what was the culprit?

Clutch Positioning Sensor made me rethink what I did under the car. So I checked the clutch adjustment and at the quadrant it was in the wrong slot. Switched it up and the car fired. Didn't realize that would effect the starting of the car.
