I am putting springs on my friends cobra and I am trying to remember if the tighter coils go on top or bottom. They are H&R.

the flat (shaped) end mates with the upper spring perch.
you should have marked the lower rear arms as to where the factory pigtail ended. in the fronts, the first hole should be covered but the second hole should be visible.
