need advise on differential seal

the seal for the differential seems to have blown which i know is a commom problem with these cars, i was wondering on how to fix this i couldnt really find anything on this. somenone told me you need to pull the whole pumpkin to di this which i cant imagine having to do. and also what works best for resealing it such as another gasket or permetex etc. thanks for the help guys!

You're going to have to drop the center section to get to the diff cover off. I sealed mine up with RTV when I RR mine.

There's no gasket. Just use RTV as 99 said.
