hey guys. im looking at buying a new truck and my buddy just became an insurance salesman for state farm.
in getting a quote on the new truck, i got one for the cobra too as they will be on the same policy. he asked if i knew it had been in a wreck and proceeds to tell me about 2 separate incidents on the report each with comprehensive damage exceeding 3,000 and 7,000 bucks.
hard news to swallow and im sure if i had gotten a carfax before buying it would have scared me away. that said i feel like not buying this car would have been a huge mistake. its very tight and solid and i've had it completely torn apart (literally) and there is NO sign of any accidents or repair work. other than a paint run in the driver's door.
anyway if anyone can help me get the whole report so i can see it for myself....my VIN is 1FAFP48Y93F300523.
