Navigation antenna location?

Where is everybody putting the navigation antenna (location) after head unit install? Dashboard, on top of unit itself(inside of the dash) etc. ?

Mine is on top of my Pioneer Da 210.

No issues.

That's what I was thinking of putting mine. Good to know there is no issues with it being there and not on the dash.

It might be better signal if you can put it on the passenger side of the console by the shifter if there is room.

Thought About looking into that for myself but no big deal.

Shop put in on the windshield cowl. Was a little bummer when I saw it but now I dont even notice it

Oh and I never use the stereo nav...

I put mine on the corner of the dash and I don't even notice it.

Signal is Good with Gps on top of unit.

That was the spot I picked too. I used 3M body molding tape to stick it under the dash right at the front. It will never fall off. Just clean the place you are going to stick it with alky first.

My GPS antenna is on the passenger side corner, my Radar GPS antenna is center dash - don't even notice them really and no one really points out asking what those two are so I'd imagine its a little inconspicuous.

Put it behind the radio under the dash.
