nasty headlight

hey guys, my passenger head light is looking quite crappy and i want to get it cleaned up. is wetsanding and buffing the best way to do this? or is there a better way? also any specific brands of stuff to use while doing it or what?

In my experience wet sanding,polishing and time are the best way. I have resotored many headlights this way

Here is how I restore headlights.

1. Use a solvent like Meguiars Body solvent to clean them
2. Claybar the lenses
3. Use an abrasive swirl remover like SSR
4. Polish them with a good cleaner polish like Klasse AIO
5. Maintain with Plexus

Sounds like a lot of work but it only takes 15min per light. Here are some Mustang lights I did. They will not re-yellw if you simply maintain every car wash with Plexus.
