had 10 runs.. yes 10...

only had 4 clean runs, kept hitting cones in the slaloms with my rear end... had two runs in 49.8 but with hitting one cone each time. Fastest clean run was 50.054.
and yes, my car was filthy.. but she's all purty now..

to prove that she's clean now...

the driver of the Grandsport is a kid - probably 15? Maybe? He started driving in autocrosses and other track events when he was like 6 or somehting in gocarts. He was 4 to 5 seconds faster than me.. He was also on race rubber - a nice set of fat ass Hoosiers... They trailered the car there too, it wasn't registered or inspected, no lic plate, so I have no idea what had been done to it... So I got my ass whoooped by him...

But I was right about mid pack, I could use some bigger sway bars and some stickier rubber and a good bit of teaching on how to judge the best lines. The kids Dad did say he enjoy's watching me out there.

In two spots I would reach 7000rpm in 2nd gear, almost 70mph and I could feel the inside tire start to spin...
