It seems quite a few of us here run nitrous as our choice of power adder! So I'm curious as to what everyone runs at the dragstrip with nitrous on vs nitrous off.

Include ET, MPH, 60', TIRES, GEARS and any engine mods.

This will also be good to use to see what kind of times people can expect from our cars for different size shots and guys looking to nitrous their cobra.

I would post mine but I've yet to run it with the nitrous yet....but soon.

Post your NA time, then the nitrous time. Don't forget to specify what size shot. Timeslips are always good too.

I'm one of those guys!

No track times yet though. Made 42x/47x though. I really wanna see how far this setup can go.

98 cobra
engine mods: stock motor with full bolt ons 4:10 gears + a short runner intake.
tires: nitto drags 275/50/15
nitrous: 175 dry shot
N/A run: cant find my time slip but it ran 12.70's @109.6 mph if i remember correctly.
nitrous run: 60' 1.76, 1/8 mile 7.58 @ 91.46 mph, 1/4 mile 11.69 @ 121 mph
that nitrous run was done with a 20 mph head wind and since then I've dropped 102lbs off the car so I'm shooting for high 11.50's @ 122 mph with the right conditions and the weight reduction...

Stampede3... I get what your saying but with that logic the same could be said of about 99 percent of the threads started on here. I was just using it as a tool to get more "Real" results rather than what it "should" or "usually" runs.

No harm meant...

Problem is your real results will greatly vary due mainly to different driving.

Knowing a 100 shot should take off .8-1.0 is more important IMO that having 5 different guys with results ranging from .3-1.2 due to different driving, track conditions, elevation, launching RPM, launching on the bottle, etc....

Just me though.

And no harm was done.
