ha ha, the new Explorer is even a pretty weak excuse for an SUV. It's more of crossover than anything else.

I'm getting tired of these competitions though. IMO, they're all biased. Motor trend's truck of the year, midsized sedan of the year, etc, etc. We hear it all in the commercials as if it actually means anything.

thats cool i guess. but its damn ugly. and it certainly wouldn't be my first pick in that list of vehicles. in fact, the honda, hyundai, toyota and both kia's are the only vehicles i wouldn't take before the new exploder

Not a truck, not a SUV

I'm sure it's a damn fine vehicle, but not a huge fan of that front end.


Flex, Edge, Explorer.....One of them needs to go. Too much overlap.

i agree. they all offer the same thing for the most part. what i find funny is the fact that the Flex, the more family oriented and most "minivanish" of the three is the only one that offers the better ecoboost motor, yet it's the one that would seemingly need it the least
