If any of you Mystic Owners could possibly repost this on any of the other forums you are part of that would be great - I'd like everyone to have a fair chance at getting in on these seats! - thanks and have a great weekend!:beer:

What if I want the seats but m not a mystichrome originally painted cobra? am I still eligible for the raffle?
they will likely be expensive. It is mystichrome leather. There will never be more of it made. There are probably well over 900 of these cars on the road still.b which means you potentially have 900 people competing for 20 sets after which the losers will have to switch to a different color.
Call it silly if you want but it is a pretty fair way to manage such a limited supply.
$1,700.00 for the fronts only and $2,300 for the whole set. Stout numbers but I guess I'll be in the raffle once I get home and get my build number. Whats the deal with the SVT Cobra build number? Is this the Mystichrome number or the number of total Cobras built for 2004? So only CObra owners get in on the raffle or only Mystichrome owners? Please elaborate!
Yikes. Count me out I guess as their is no way I'm paying $2300 for seat covers. Call me silly but I'd rather have the black suade in the car at that rate so I guess that will be my plan when the stockers wear out :-(
RDJ - thank you - that is the way I saw it as well. If we were just going to go with the first 20 people to email me, then I would already have my 20 and no one here would get a set. This way, whether you put in your application today or wait till June 1st you still get a shot at winning your spot. I thought that was as fair as it could be. You have to realize this Limited Run is being advertised in numerous Mustang Magazines as well as all of the sites we sponsor - so, that added all together hopefully explains why we opted for a raffle.
As for the price - I'm sure you can imagine this leather was NOT cheap to buy when we acquired it. Then add in the complete leather fronts, the Ford Licensed Cobra Logo AND the foam for the two front buckets and the price really isn't really that high for the last of this NOS material. I really had to fight tooth and nail to keep it where it is priced at now to be honest:
Full Set (front buckets and rear) with two front bucket foams for $2,300.00
Front Buckets Only with two front bucket foams for $1,700.00
And as far as the Cobra Vin number - I believe that is an optional field. We just thought it would be neat to see the production numbers for the cars and let everyone show off a picture of their ride along w/ what number it was - all in fun. So no - you do not have to own a mystic cobra to enter- if you get a set and want to put them in your Escort , more power to ya

Oh - and the entire line of our 01,03,&04 Cobra will be released this upcoming Wednesday. Along with our 03,04 Mach 1 and 01 Bullitt. Keep an eye on LRS and CJP as they are going to be the first to have these sets up on their sites.

I'm a little bummed to report that of the 29 people who entered the raffle - only four people confirmed their purchase and are now awaiting their sets of NOS Mystichrome...
We'll be putting the remaining sets up on our website - the only change will be that the sets will now be available with or without replacement foam. However, we highly suggest ordering new foam on such a sought after set to insure a perfect fit. I'll be sure to post up on here when the sets are listed on the website.

TMI 2004 Cobra Dark Charcoal/Mystichrome Leather Seat Upholstery for all 1999-2004 Ford Mustangs.
Restore or re-style your Mustang's seats with a set of TMI's 2004 Cobra seat upholstery in dark charcoal leather with Mystichrome leather inserts. In 2004, Ford released the 2004 Cobra with a color changing paint called Mystichrome. Ford offered something that has never been seen before, color changing seats to match the Mystichrome exterior paint. WOW!!! I was out at $2300 but for $1300 I couldn't resist. I bought a set and will be keeping them for the future for when my wear out. I'm super excited!!!
TMI - do you have any recomendations for storage on these seats? My car only has 17K miles so the seats are currently enar mint so I probally wont need these for some time so they will be stored indoors in my house safely. Is their anything I need to do to insure they stay stored OK? I was thinking of taking the out of the box, flipping the to where the leather is on the outside (prevent wrinkles) and twice a year hitting them with some leather conditioner. Anything your recommend?

Even though I don't own a mystic, I'd kill for the front bucket leathers. Are the 98 cobra seat frames the same as the 99-04? Would I need the 04 foam set too?
